We would like you to enjoy your visit to the centre as much as possible. Please help us to ensure that pools are clean, safe and enjoyable for all our users by adhering to the following guidelines:

Please Do

  1. Shower before using the pools.
  2. Encourage children to visit the toilet prior to entering the pool.
  3. Use special swim nappies for babies - available from reception.
  4. Closely supervise all children at all times especially in the pools and changing rooms. Please note that under 8’s must be accompanied in the water by a responsible adult aged 18 or over. Each adult can supervise up to 2 children.
  5. Use buoyancy aids for weak swimmers.
  6. Follow instructions from lifeguards at all times.
  7. Use lockers provided.
  8. Use litter bins provided.
  9. Dispose of all soiled nappies in the nappy bins provided.

Please Don't

  1. Bring in excessive dirt from outside or walk on the poolside in outdoor footwear.
  2. Use the pools if you or your child has suffered from diarrhoea or illness in the past 14 days.
  3. Eat a meal immediately prior to entering the pool.
  4. Leave clothes unattended in cubicles.
  5. Use snorkels, fins or masks during public sessions
  6. Bomb or perform acrobatics.
  7. Dive in any part of the pool unless under the instruction of Goldenstones qualified instructors.
  8. Throw objects in the pool.
  9. Bring glass bottles or other containers.
  10. Allow Under 8s to use the pool without adult supervision.
  11. Block the changing room aisles.
